Youtube video: Florida Church to Burn Quran on 9/11

Assalamualaikum,

I found this video really upsetting about a Pastor who is going to burn the Quran on 9/11. What are their actual plans? Their motives? Are they trying to abolish the Quran from the Muslims? From the world? They perhaps don’t have any idea that, that is going to be impossible. Do they know that there are lots and lots of Muslims in different parts of the world that memorized the Quran fully and thoroughly. Alhamdulilah :)

It’s so ironic how they are calling Islam and the Muslims as violent and devil when they are the ones destroying our Holy Quran in a violent and devilish manner. The Church are saying that they are sending a message of peace and Islam is devil but look at what they are doing? Burning other religion’s holy book, that is no way a form of peace.

Hijab Poem

You look at me and call me oppressed,
Simply because of the way I’m dressed,

You know me not for what is inside,
You judge the clothing I wear with pride,

My body is not for your eyes to hold,
You must speak to my mind, not my feminine mould,

I’m an individual. I’m no man’s slave,
It’s Allah’s pleasure that I only crave,

I have a voice so I will be heard,
For in my heart I carry His word,

“O ye women, wrap close your cloak,
So you won’t be bothered by ignorant folk”.

Man doesn’t tell me to dress this way,
It’s law from God that I obey,

Oppressed is something I’m truly not,
For liberation is what I’ve got,

It was given to me many years ago,
With the right to prosper, the right to grow,

I can climb mountains or cross the seas,
Expand my mind in all degrees,

For God Himself gave us liberty,
When He sent Islam, to you and me!

Ramadan is coming!

Salam brothers and sister,

Ramadan is coming near and I’m excited for it, are you? I’m sure you too. So how do you guys welcome it? How do you guys prepare it? :D Below is an article I found and I want to share it with you guys:-

Ramadan is the best month of the year because Allah has chosen it to make fasting this month obligatory and the fourth pillar of Islam and He has prescribed for the Muslims to spend its nights in prayer as the Prophet (pbuh) said:

“Islam is built on five (pillars): testimony that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, establishing prayer, paying zakah, fasting ramadan and performing pilgrimage to the house (Ka’abah)”

And he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever spend the nights of Ramadaan in prayer out of faith and in the hope of reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.” Agreed upon. I do not know of any specific way of welcoming Ramadan, but the Muslim should welcome it with joy and happiness and thanking Allah for enabling him to reach Ramadan, for He has caused him to be among the living who compete in doing righteous deeds.

Reaching Ramadan is a great blessing from Allah. Hence the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to give his companions the glad tidings of the arrival of Ramadan and explain its virtues, and the great reward that Allah has prepared for those who fast and who spend the night in prayer. It is prescribed for the Muslim to welcome this blessed month with sincere repentance and preparations to fast and pray qiyaam, with a sound intention and sincere resolve. End quote.

Three Tough Questions

There was a young man who went overseas to study for quite a long time.

When he returned, he asked his parents to find him a religious scholar or any expert who could answer his 3 questions.

Finally, his parents were able to find a Muslim scholar.

Young man: Who are you? Can you answer my questions?
Scholar: I am one of Allah (SubHana Wa Ta`ala )’s slaves and Insha-Allah (God willing), I will be able to answer your questions.
Young Man: Are you sure? A lot of Professors and experts were not able to answer my questions.
Scholar: I will try my best, with the help of Allah (SubHana Wa Ta`ala).
Young Man: OK, I have 3 questions:

  1.  Does God exist? If so, show me His shape.
  2. What is El-Qadr (fate)?
  3. If shaitan (Devil) was created from the fire, why at the end will he be thrown in hell that is also created from fire? It certainly will not hurt him at all, since Shaitan (Devil) and hell were created from fire. Did God not think of it this far?

Suddenly, the Scholar slapped the young man’s face very hard.

Young Man (feeling pain): Why did you get angry at me?
Scholar: I am not angry. The slap is my answer to your three questions.
Young Man: I really don’t understand.

Scholar: How do you feel after I slapped you?
Young Man: of course, I felt the pain.
Scholar: So do you believe that pain exists?
Young Man: Yes.
Scholar: Show me the shape of the pain!
Young Man: I cannot.

Scholar: That is my first answer. All of us feel God’s existence without being able to see His shape. Last night, did you dream that you will be slapped by me?
Young Man: No.
Scholar: Did you ever think that you would get a slap from me today?
Young Man: No.
Scholar: That is El-Qadr (fate) my second answer. My hand that I used to slap you, what is it created from?
Young Man: It is created from flesh.
Scholar: How about your face, what is it created from?
Young Man: Flesh.
Scholar: How do you feel after I slapped you?
Young Man: In pain.

Scholar: This is my third answer. Even though Shaitan (Devil) and hell are both created from the fire, if Allah wants, insha-Allah (God willing), hell will become a very painful place for Shaitan.

Allah said: ‘If you are ashamed of me, I will be ashamed of you’.

When the dwellers of Paradise enter Paradise, an announcer will call: (you have a promise from Allah that) you will live therein and you will never die; you will stay healthy therein and you will never fall ill; you will stay young and you will never become old; you will be under a constant bliss and you will never feel miserable.
